Knowledge Agent (previously known as Academy Agent) is Insider One's education and onboarding specialist. It explains how Insider One works, so you can learn a concept, plan a campaign, or find your first step without guessing. It teaches and guides. The product work itself stays in your hands.
Knowledge Agent covers channel, segmentation, audience, campaign, and analytics concepts, plus the everyday terms that go with them: audience, segment, campaign goal, sender, schedule, conversion, engagement, deliverability, and testing.

Why marketers love Knowledge Agent
A trainer that speaks marketing. Knowledge Agent explains platform terms in plain language. Where it helps, it adds a concrete marketing example, such as how an audience differs from a segment.
A clear path from goal to checklist. Tell it what you want to do, and it turns your goal into practical planning guidance, a short checklist, or best-practice recommendations. You no longer have to work out where to begin.
Honest, product-specific answers. Knowledge Agent favors guidance that fits Insider One over generic advice. If it isn't sure a product rule is correct, it says so and points you to where you can confirm it.
What Knowledge Agent can do
Explain features and concepts. It walks through what a feature does, how a concept fits the bigger picture, and how it's typically configured.
Guide your onboarding. It lays out first steps, prerequisites, and the typical order of operations for a new user or a new goal.
Turn a goal into a checklist. It translates "I want to do X" into planning guidance, without collecting the specifics needed to run it.
Clarify terminology. It defines and contrasts platform terms in plain language.
Explain what a workflow needs. It describes what information you typically need to create a campaign, build a segment, or interpret analytics results.
Look up current documentation. When a question needs precise setup steps, constraints, or rules, it pulls current guides, tutorials, and how-to articles from Insider One Academy, and the answers include links to the relevant Insider One Academy articles.
Ask one focused question when needed. If it's unclear which feature or workflow you mean, it asks a single targeted question. It never re-asks for something you already said.
Use cases
Learn the language
You're planning a campaign, and your team uses "audience" and "segment" interchangeably. Ask Knowledge Agent for the difference. It explains the distinction and adds a practical marketing example to make it concrete.
Start with SMS
You're new to Insider One and want to launch your first SMS campaign. Knowledge Agent gives onboarding guidance: what to set up first, which prerequisites apply, and the order of operations. When you're ready to build, SMS Campaign Agent takes over and handles SMS campaign creation.
Plan before you build
You have an email campaign in mind but haven't started. Knowledge Agent walks you through the typical planning steps: goal, sender setup, deliverability basics, and testing before your first send. It explains why each step matters, so you know what to prepare before you build. Once you're ready to build, Email Campaign Agent handles the actual creation.
How Knowledge Agent works
Guidance, not action. Knowledge Agent is read-only. It never creates, edits, validates, saves, or launches a real campaign or segment. It also never runs or invents analytics on your actual data.
A clean handoff. Sometimes a request moves from "explain this" to "do this" or "show me my real numbers." Knowledge Agent then tells you where to go: campaign creation goes to SMS Campaign Agent, WhatsApp Campaign Agent, or Email Campaign Agent, depending on the channel, and performance questions go to Insight Agent. It treats planning guidance and real campaign or segment creation as two separate things, even within the same conversation.
The data it works from. Knowledge Agent draws on its product education role and, when a question needs precise rules, on Insider One Academy. It does not work from your campaign, segment, or analytics data.
Where you meet it. You chat with Insider One's agent. Questions about how a feature works, onboarding, terminology, setup, and best practices go to Knowledge Agent. Requests that need real execution, such as SMS or email campaign creation, go to SMS Campaign Agent or Email Campaign Agent, and requests that need real analytics go to Insight Agent.
Ask Knowledge Agent
A few habits help you get the most from every answer:
Name the feature or channel you mean, such as SMS or segmentation.
Ask about one topic at a time.
Say when you're ready to build, so Knowledge Agent can point you to the right agent.
Try these example prompts:
What's the difference between an audience and a segment? What do I need to prepare before sending my first WhatsApp campaign?I'm new here. How do I get started with SMS?How do I prepare an email campaign before I build it?Why did my last campaign underperform? The last prompt needs your real performance data. Knowledge Agent doesn't guess or estimate an answer. It sends you to Insight Agent, so the answer comes from your actual results.
Limits and good to know
Knowledge Agent explains and plans. It doesn't build, change, or launch campaigns or segments.
Knowledge Agent doesn't calculate, estimate, or invent performance numbers.
If Knowledge Agent isn't sure of a product rule, it tells you and points you to where you can confirm it.
