The Domain Management step ensures that the domains you use to send email are fully verified, trusted, and ready for safe delivery. In this section, you will submit your sender domains, configure the required DNS records, connect your domains to Postmaster tools, and assign sender addresses that will appear in the “From” field of your emails.
This process confirms your ownership of each domain, strengthens your sender reputation, and helps inbox providers recognize your emails as legitimate. Once completed, your domains and sender identities will be fully prepared for use across your Email campaigns and Architect journeys.
1. Domain Submission
In this step, enter all the sender domains you want to use for your email account.
Sender domain example: subdomain.rootdomain.com
Without adding the root domain, you will not be able to proceed. Subdomain is optional; however, adding a unique subdomain is recommended to enhance your domain’s reputation and deliverability.
Make sure to add all the necessary sender domains. After you confirm you want to use the added sender domains, the system will create DNS Records for each domain in the next step, and at that point the domains won’t be changeable.

2. DNS Records Configuration
DNS (Domain Name System) is a system that stores and translates domain names into the associated IP addresses of hosting servers.
In this step, you will see DNS Records for your submitted sender domains. You should configure all the provided DNS Records to have verified sender domains.
To complete the configuration, you have two options. For a quicker setup, Automatic DNS Records Configuration is recommended.

3. Postmaster Tool Setup
In this step, you will set up the Postmaster Tool, review a summary of your email domain configuration, and explore additional email channels.
Connecting your domains lets you track key metrics like spam rate, domain reputation, and delivery errors, helping you maintain a strong sender reputation.

4. Sender Address Setup
In this step, you will set up your sender addresses and link them to your verified domains.
Sender address example: My Brand <mail@subdomain.rootdomain.com>
Your sender name and email address appear in users’ inboxes, so choosing a clear, recognizable brand identity helps build trust and reduces the likelihood that your emails will be ignored.
Once your domain is verified, you can assign a sender name to it, ensuring your campaigns are consistent, professional, and effortless to manage across your Email campaigns and Architect journeys.
