The Email Setup Wizard guides you through the essential steps required to prepare your Insider One Email account for secure, high-deliverability sending. Each step helps ensure that your domains, infrastructure, and sender identity are configured correctly, so your emails are trusted by inbox providers and reliably reach your users.

The wizard is designed to be simple and structured. You will move through a set of guided configuration steps to validate key requirements, including IP routing, domain verification, warm-up planning, and test delivery. Once completed, your account will be fully ready to create and send Email campaigns and Architect journeys with confidence.

1. Key Email Information

In this step, you will provide essential information about your email practices and previous experience with email providers. The discovery form helps us collect the key details needed to ensure compliance and to prepare your account for use of the Email channel.

2. IP Address Assignment

In this step, you'll review your Monthly Email Volume and proceed with the IP Address assignment process. An IP Address will be used to send your emails. Your Monthly Email Volume helps us optimize email deliverability and ensure the setup aligns with your sending needs.

3. Domain Management

In this step, you should submit all the necessary Sender Domains in the Domain Submission step. You can add more than one sender domain. Sender domain should include uniqe subdomain and root domain. DNS records will be generated for each submitted sender domains in the DNS Records Configuration step.

4. Tracking Link Management

In this step, you will configure how links behave in your emails and choose the tracking link experience that best fits your needs. You can select between using Unbranded shortened links, branded Shortened links, or Branded Universal Links. Each option provides different levels of branding, tracking behavior, and mobile app experience. Based on your selection, you’ll be guided through the required setup steps, including domain configuration, tracking behavior, and activation.

5. Email Subscribers

In this step, you will prepare your email audience and configure essential recipient controls for your campaigns. You’ll add your opted-in subscriber base using supported collection methods and set up unsubscription management to give recipients control over their email preferences. Based on your configuration, you’ll be guided through the required setup to support compliant communication and reliable campaign delivery.

6. Warm Up Planning

In this step, you’ll enter your maximum daily email volume to generate warm up plans for each of your verified sender domain. An Automated Warm Up plan tailored to your maximum Daily Email Volume goal will be scheduled for sending emails, making the process smooth and efficient. You can also track your plan’s progress in real time within the panel.

7. Test Email Setup

In this step, you’ll send a test email to confirm that your email configuration is working correctly. This helps you verify that your default sender address can successfully send emails and that your links resolve as expected. After completing this step, you will see a summary of your Email Setup along with additional features available in the Email product.

Once all steps are completed successfully, your Email channel will be fully configured and ready to use across your Insider One platform. You can then begin creating campaigns and journeys with full confidence in your deliverability foundation.
