Account Registration

Prev Next

Account Registration is where you provide everything the SMS provider needs to register your senders in a country.

The steps below apply to Türkiye, the United States, and Australia, the countries that use in-product registration. You move through them in order, and your progress is saved per country, so you can leave the wizard and return to the same point later. Each country has its own registration, so when you add a second country, you complete these steps again for it.

Every other country also goes through Account Registration, but you complete it by filling in the registration form provided by Insider One rather than on these pages. Refer to Registration in Form-Based Countries.

Complete SMS Consent Settings and review SMS Subscribers before you start. Your consent selection applies to every country on your panel and determines the opt-in methods you can configure in Step 2: Opt-in Method Definition.

Once a country's registration is approved, you can no longer edit that country's registration or add new senders to it. Finalize your sender list before you submit. While registration is still in progress, including after a rejection, you can update your information and add senders freely.

Registration Steps

  1. Sender Submission

In this step, you add the senders you plan to send SMS from, and select a message type and a sender type for each one.

  2. Opt-in Method Definition

In this step, you configure how your customers consent to receive SMS messages.

  3. Opt-out Method Definition

In this step, you define how your customers withdraw consent and stop receiving your SMS messages.

  4. SMS Content Definition

In this step, you define sample messages that represent the SMS content you plan to send.

  5. Volume and Frequency

In this step, you estimate your SMS volume, campaign frequency, and expected peak sending periods.

  6. Business Information

In this step, you provide the business details required to complete your registration with the SMS provider.

  7. Document Upload

In this step, you upload the documents required during the SMS registration process.

  8. Registration Confirmation

In this step, you review every detail of your registration and submit it for review.

Once your registration is approved, the country status becomes Incomplete, and you continue with Transactional SMS Setup, where you set up transactional messaging, then Test SMS Setup.
