An expression is a formula that combines one or more existing events or attributes to produce a new, calculated attribute on a user or event profile. The result is stored and updated automatically and is immediately available for use in segmentation and personalization without requiring a separate data ingestion step.

Creating more precise user segments
Powering advanced personalization and automation strategies
