Insider One lets you collect zero-party feedback directly from your users through InApp and OnSite surveys, and turn their answers into user attributes you can act on. You can run Short Answer and NPS surveys inside your mobile app and collect feedback on your website. In mobile app surveys, you can map each answer to a user attribute and then use those attributes for segmentation and campaign exclusions.
How can you survey your mobile app users?
App Survey offers two survey types: Short Answer Survey and NPS. Both are shown inside your app, require Insider One’s Mobile SDK (Android 9.0.2+ / iOS 9.1.2+), and can be triggered on events.
Each survey supports up to 20 questions.
NPS uses a Linear Scale or Emotes template with a 0–10 rating and an optional feedback/comment box.
You can export respondents' scores and comments to Excel together with their identifiers.
Feedback is a Web Template product. Create a campaign from Campaigns > Optimization > Web Templates and use the Collect Feedback template category.
How does NPS scoring work in Insider One?
NPS respondents rate you on a scale of 0 to 10. Responses group into Promoters (9–10), Passives (7–8), and Detractors (0–6), and you can configure a different follow-up question for each group.
How can you turn survey answers into user attributes?
You can map a survey answer to a user attribute, either by creating a new attribute or by writing to an existing one. Once stored, that attribute behaves like any other user attribute and can be used in segmentation.
Survey-derived attributes can be used in segment rules, including the Exclude Recipients step of a campaign, to hold a defined segment out of a send.
