Databricks is a unified data and analytics platform designed for large-scale data engineering, analytics, and machine learning workloads. It enables organizations to store, process, and analyze data such as customer profiles, behavioral events, and transactional records across data lakes and data warehouses.

Import Data from Databricks to Insider

You can establish Insider as an output in Databricks’ ecosystem and send data from Databricks to Insider. With this integration, you can share user and event data stored in Databricks with Insider using Databricks Secure Data Share. This method eliminates the need for ETL pipelines, reduces maintenance, and keeps costs low. Once connected, Insider will regularly sync the shared data to keep your profiles and events up to date.

Export Data from Insider to Databricks

You can export user and event data from Insider One to Databricks by using Amazon S3 as an intermediary data lake.

In this setup, Insider exports data to a customer-owned Amazon S3 bucket, and Databricks ingests that data using customer-configured ingestion pipelines. This approach enables flexible and scalable batch or continuous ingestion workflows without direct system-to-system dependencies.
