First-Party Segments allow you to target users based on custom dataset values stored in Local Storage or First-Party Cookies on your website.

This is useful when your cookies store information about users or user segments—such as frequent buyers of a specific product or users who shared their email address during sign-up.

How the FPS segment works

  • Target a specific dataset to check if the cookie matches any value in your dataset.

  • Upload a CSV file containing the dataset values to match

  • Example: Cookie Value in Custom Dataset - in - premium_user - user_list
