US State-Level Silent Hours is a per-sender setting in InOne > SMS > Settings > Sender Preferences > Silent Hours. When enabled, it automatically applies the correct US federal and state-level quiet-hour rules to every promotional SMS sent to a US recipient, based on the recipient's resolved location, without requiring manual Silent Hours configuration.
How do US State-Level Silent Hours apply?
Applies the federal TCPA baseline to any US state without a specific rule.
Applies a stricter, state-specific quiet-hour window for the states listed in the reference table below, including day-of-week variations (for example, Texas) and full Sunday sending bans in several states.
Resolves each recipient's state from their Insider One user attributes first. If no attribute is available, it falls back to the area code of the recipient's phone number.
Applies to promotional sends only. Transactional messages, opt-in/opt-out confirmations, and STOP/HELP/START compliance keyword responses are always sent, regardless of this setting.

Enable US State-Level Silent Hours
Navigate to InOne > SMS > Settings.
Choose the sender you want to configure from the sender list. Click its Sender Preferences.
On the Sender Preferences page, open the Silent Hours tab. Confirm that Silent Hours is enabled for this sender.
US State-Level Silent Hours is off by default. Select Enable US State-Level Silent Hours below the Silent Hours start and end time fields.
Click Save. The change applies from the next send onward for this sender only.
US State-Level Silent Hours sets a compliance floor, not a ceiling. If you already have a manually configured Silent Hours window that is more restrictive than a given state's rule, your manual window still applies for that send.
