Primary Identifier makes it easier to identify users. It is a single custom attribute assigned as the primary key to a unique device ID (UDID) to identify the user behind that device. To facilitate data exchange between user and enterprise devices and avoid duplicate resolutions, you must specify one primary item identifier for your enterprise. This may require your enterprise to create a uniform identifier if you haven’t already. Your uniform identifier can be anything in your system and app that is unique for each user:
- Email address
- Phone number
- User_ID
Panel setup
- Go to Settings > Mobile App Settings > General.
- Choose any custom attribute as your primary identifier.
