Version history allows you to track changes in your design created with the drag and drop editor. It helps you restore any autosaved version to revert to a previous state.
Version history saves every change instantly and creates a version for that change. Users can also see details such as when these versions were saved and who made the changes.
The Undo, Redo, and Version History buttons let you undo or redo a change.
Also, you can view the Change History, see the previous email versions before the changes, and restore them.
To restore the previous email version, click the Restore button or use one of the three options in the dropdown menu: Restore as a new, preview in a new tab, or export as.
The email design is not editable during the preview. Only the scroll function will be available.
After the version loads, a toaster is displayed indicating success or an error. If the version is not restored successfully, you can see the toaster error on the same page.
If the version is restored successfully, the history modal will be closed, and the default modal will appear.
When opening the version history modal again, you can see the new restored version at the top, with the restored timestamp.
