Insider One AI

Insider One AI is the AI assistant built into your Insider One panel. Ask it questions in plain language, upload a file, or describe what you want to get done, and it responds with answers, charts, and, where supported, by taking action on your behalf.

Instead of clicking through menus or exporting data to spreadsheets, you describe what you want in everyday language. Behind the scenes, your request is automatically routed to a specialized agent: an expert in one area of Insider One, such as analytics. You always work in the same chat surface, no matter which agent handles your question.

Not every agent works the same way, and it helps to know which kind you're talking to:

  • Read-only agents answer questions and surface insights but never change anything in your account. Insight Agent works this way today.

  • Action-taking agents can draft content or configurations on your behalf, such as a campaign or a segment, but always stop and ask for your approval before anything goes live.

More agents, including ones that act in other channels, will be added over time. Whichever kind you're using, you stay in control: nothing is sent, saved, or changed in your account without your explicit approval first.

  • Insight Agent: Self-service analytics. Ask questions about your campaign performance and customer behavior in plain language and get instant, pinnable charts and tables.

Where to find Insider One AI

Open Insider One AI from the chat entry point in the Insider One panel. The chat panel opens alongside your work, so you can keep asking questions without leaving the page.

What it means

Agent

A specialist for one job, such as analytics. You don't choose which agent handles a request; it's routed automatically based on what you ask.

Conversation

A chat thread. Ask follow-up questions to refine an answer, and reopen past conversations later. See Conversations.

Widget

A chart, table, or KPI card that an agent generates from your question. Widgets can be pinned to a dashboard. See Insight Agent.

Good to know

  • Ask in any language. The assistant understands most languages and replies in kind. Expect the most consistent results in English.

  • You stay in control. Agents that can make changes always show you what they're about to do and wait for your approval before anything happens.

  • Availability rolls out in stages. If you don't see a particular agent yet, it may not be enabled for your account. Reach out to the Insider One account team for access.
