Global Unsubscribe and Preference Center enables you to make the unsubscribe process more transparent and user-friendly. This way, you can maintain healthy and engaged email lists. Giving subscribers the ability to manage their email preferences efficiently reduces the number of unsubscribes and spam complaints, and improves your email deliverability and ROI. It can also prevent the auto-unsubscription by firewalls and security tools that click email links.
With the Insider's email editor, you can create beautiful and highly customizable unsubscribe pages for your emails. These pages give your subscribers more control over their email preferences and enhance their overall experience with your brand.

You can create your unsubscribe pages in two ways: Unsubscribe Links in Default Modules or Custom Unsubscribe Pages.
A substantial spike in click rates driven by bot clicks has been detected across various campaigns. This has affected users, especially with Microsoft domains, and led to an increase in automated unsubscribes. To mitigate this issue and protect your valuable subscriber base, we highly recommend implementing a two-step unsubscribe process with the Custom Unsubscribe feature.
Unsubscribe links in default modules
You can add Insider's pre-built unsubscribe link modules to your emails to give your subscribers the Global Unsubscribe, Unsubscribe Preferences, Global Unsubscribe for Unsubscribe Preferences & Group Unsubscribe, and Group Unsubscribe options.
If you do not want to build your custom pages for these links, you can easily use the default modules in the Drag & Drop Editor, or add the unsubscribe tags to your email templates in the HTML editor.

Custom unsubscribe pages
You can use the Drag and Drop Editor with great flexibility to create an unsubscribe page that matches your brand and messaging. You can change text, fonts, and colors, add a logo, images, and video, and map your unsubscribe groups to specific preferences, allowing subscribers to manage the types of emails they receive.
With just a few clicks, you can easily create a fully customized unsubscribe page tailored to your subscribers' needs. You can preview the page in real-time and ensure it looks perfect before launching it. Unsubscribe links also work in the test emails, so you can send a test email to yourself and test them.

If you want to use your own unsubscribe link and manage your unsubscribes on your end, you should inform Insider's Operational Excellence Team and send your unsubscribe data to Insider continuously to sync with Insider's suppression lists. You can use Insider's Upsert User Data, Resubscribe Email Users, or Unsubscribe Email Users from Database APIs to send the global unsubscribe, group unsubscribe, and resubscribe events to Insider.
