Frequency Capping is a one-time setup that controls the maximum number of emails your contacts will receive within a specific time range.
How are Frequency Capping limits set?
Channel Frequency Capping Settings can be found under InOne Settings > Advanced Settings. To activate the feature, you only need to check the respective box. Once the feature is activated, you can apply limits based on daily and weekly sendings, per your engagement strategy.
Is there a way to bypass the Channel Frequency Capping in some campaigns?
Yes, each campaign has a bypass option. To turn off the defined delivery limit, click the checkbox "Bypass Channel Frequency Capping" on the Launch Step of your campaign.
What happens if the subscriber does not have any past events?
Your recipient will receive the campaign if they don't have any past events.
What email campaign types count towards the frequency capping?
Promotional, Recurring, and Experiment campaign types will add to the default frequency capping.
Are there any limitations on Frequency Capping?
Currently, it is not possible to use the Frequency Capping feature with A/B and Send Time Optimized campaigns.
Does frequency capping apply across multiple brands, panels, or accounts?
Channel Frequency Capping is configured and evaluated per panel (account), under InOne Settings > Advanced Settings. It limits the number of emails a contact receives from that single panel. As documented, it does not pool send volume across separate panels or brands. If you operate several brands in separate panels and need a single shared pressure limit across all of them, check with your Insider One account team about the current options.
Is it possible to send recurring campaigns with Frequency Capping?
It is. Please note that the recipients receiving the recurring campaigns may vary.
Can we use the Frequency Capping when automated warm-up is enabled?
You can not use Frequency Capping during the automated warm-up period.
