Instead of manually selecting attributes, events, and operators, you can state your use case in plain language and let the system generate the appropriate segmentation logic for you.

This capability reduces setup time, lowers the learning curve, and makes segmentation accessible to both technical and non-technical users.

What is Smart Segment Creator?

Smart Segment Creator is an AI-assisted segmentation tool available during Dynamic Segment creation.

It translates written prompts into structured segment filters that you can:

  • Preview before applying.

  • Edit or extend manually.

  • Use directly in your Dynamic Segment.

The generated segment behaves exactly like a standard Dynamic Segment and can be managed, edited, and reused in the same way.

When to use Smart Segment Creator

Smart Segment Creator is particularly useful when:

  • You know the audience you want to target but are unsure how to build it in the InOne panel.

  • You want to create segments quickly without navigating multiple filter categories.

  • You are onboarding new users to segmentation.

  • You want to validate a segmentation idea rapidly.

Example use case

You want to create a segment of users who have provided email consent.

Instead of manually navigating to Attributes > Email Opt-in > is true, you can simply enter the following prompt: “users who have email opt-in.

Smart Segment Creator interprets the prompt and automatically generates the corresponding segment filter.

How to use Smart Segment Creator

To create a Dynamic Segment using Smart Segment Creator:

  1. Navigate to Dynamic Segments and click the Create button.

  2. On the segment creation screen, click Smart Segment Creator.

  3. Enter your use case as a written prompt.

  4. Review the generated segmentation preview.

  5. Click Apply the segmentation.

  6. Save your Dynamic Segment.

Once saved, the segment can be used across the platform just like any other Dynamic Segment—for targeting, exclusions, or campaign orchestration.
