Transactional RCS messages are non-promotional messages triggered by customer actions or system events. They typically communicate important information such as receipts, delivery updates, order confirmations, appointment reminders, payment notifications, and account alerts.
With RCS, you can send text messages or create rich cards containing text, images, videos, and documents. You can combine multiple rich cards into a carousel and add interactive elements such as call-to-action buttons and quick replies.
You can also configure SMS fallback. If a recipient cannot receive the RCS message and the delivery outcome is eligible for fallback, Insider One sends the configured SMS message instead.
Use the Transactional Single RCS API to send a message to one recipient, or the Transactional Batch RCS API to send individually configured messages to multiple recipients, with up to 20 messages in one request.
