The Browse Abandonment segment targets users who viewed one or more product pages within a specific time frame but did not add any items to their cart. This segment helps re-engage interested users who left without progressing toward purchase.

Requirements

To use this segment, ensure the following events are enabled:

  • Product Detail Page View

  • Item Added to Cart

These events supply the data needed to detect product browsing without cart activity.

Advanced Filtering

You can refine the Browse Abandonment segment using event parameters from the Product Detail Page View event. For example, you can target users who visited the New Vacuum Cleaner product page.

This allows more targeted re-engagement for specific products or campaigns.
