What kind of user role do I need for TikTok?
To integrate the main account in Inone Settings, you need the roles below:
Administrator
Editor (With or Without PII)
To publish/send the segment to TikTok (after the account integration in InOne Settings), you need the roles below:
Administrator
Editor (With or Without PII)
Collaborator (With or Without PII)
To remove the TikTok account that is integrated, you need the roles below:
Administrator
Whoever integrated the account before
Is there a limit I should be aware of for TikTok integration?
The TikTok Ads API has a daily limit of 24 calls per audience or cohort.
If the TikTok Ads Audience has hourly syncing and users are added or removed every hour, some syncs can fail.
If all efforts to perform remarketing via API fail, how should I proceed?
While the Insider One team investigates the root cause of the issue, you can export the segment (with identifiers) from the Dynamic Segments page and manually import it into your TikTok Ads Account.
I'm unable to add my TikTok account. The Add TikTok Account button in InOne settings is disabled. What should I do?
In your Business TikTok account,
Navigate to Assets > Advertiser accounts.
You will observe the corresponding accounts. Click on the one to see the registered users.
You will see the registered users who use those accounts in the InOne panel. The logged-in email should be listed under the members list.
What are the ways to improve the matching rate?
Provide accurate and up-to-date data: Ensure that the identifiers you provide, such as email addresses or phone numbers, are correct and current.
Encourage users to update their privacy settings: Educate your audience on the benefits of your advertising campaigns and suggest that they update their privacy settings to improve matching accuracy.
Consider using email addresses: If phone numbers don't result in a high match rate, consider using email addresses for custom audience creation, as they may be more effectively associated with user accounts.
Please note that custom audience matching may take some time, and not all matches will occur immediately. Regularly review your performance data and gather user feedback to refine your approach and continually improve your custom audience match rate.
Can I send the user’s attributes or events to the custom audience?
TikTok does not allow this for privacy reasons. However, you can see what segments you have passed to custom audiences via segmenting users in the check condition and starter elements.
How do I know if users have matched after passing users to TikTok?
TikTok does not provide this information for privacy reasons.
Can I send other identifiers apart from the email address and phone number?
Currently, Insider One only supports email addresses and phone numbers, as they are the most common identifiers.
Why do I receive an error after I send the dynamic segment from InOne to TikTok?
When sending your dynamic segment from InOne to TikTok, it must include a minimum of 1,000 users matched on TikTok's end.
Why can’t I make changes to External Platform Integrations in InOne?
To make any changes to External Platform Integrations, you must have either Administrator or Editor with PII access in InOne. Refer to User Roles for more information.
