Using Smart Recommender, you can increase conversions, conversion rates, and AOV by providing personalized recommendations and relevant products that users might be interested in further discovery, thereby boosting engagement rates, such as time spent and CTRs. To achieve these goals, you can create campaigns with different algorithms based on the following example cases.

Viewed Together

  • Showing items that align with visitors' interests helps them add items to the cart. You can use this algorithm on the Product Detail Pages.
  • Showing similar items with a "Discount Ratio" attribute filter. Set a discount ratio threshold, show only products with a higher discount ratio than the threshold, and guide them to interact with similar products with higher discounts.

Purchased Together

  • You can show purchased together items to the users and create Cross-selling opportunities. You can use this algorithm on the Product Detail Pages and Cart Pages.
  • With these algorithms and static price filters, you can set a strategy to recommend more affordable products on the cart page and increase average order value.

Most Popular Items / Top Sellers

  • Display the most popular products and promote the hottest products that are viewed or sold the most in the app.  You can use this algorithm on the Homepage.
  • If you have a special deal with specific brands, you can use custom "brand" filters to filter products from the most popular items algorithm and highlight those products on the homepage. 

Trending Products

  • Influence users by showing products that receive the most attention, as measured by visit/purchase metrics over time. You can use this algorithm on the Homepage and the Category Pages.
  • You can create a strategy that says "Here are the Trending Products of this category" by using the dynamic filtering option in the mobile app recommendation. Filter products by the current product's user category to provide more tailored recommendations.

New Arrivals

  • You can promote new arrivals, especially new season products, to increase their sales. You can use this algorithm on the Homepage and the Category Pages.
  • You can filter products and highlight categories based on seasonality and/or for occasions like Christmas, Summer Sale, Back to School, etc.

Most Valuable Products

  •  You can promote more revenue-generating products in the app. You can use this algorithm for almost all of the pages in the app, such as the Homepage, Product Detail Page, and Cart Page, etc.
  • You can filter products and present the categories with higher profitability in the most valuable product algorithm. 

Recently Viewed Items

  • You can display a user's recently viewed items to improve engagement and make it easier for users to find what they are looking for. 
  • You can remind them of the items they viewed and encourage them to revisit the product for add-to-cart.
