# Web Segments: Predictive Segments

Predictive Segments are AI-driven segmentation groups that classify users based on behavior, shopping frequency, and personal interests. These segments help you anticipate user actions and deliver targeted campaigns with higher conversion potential.

## Predictive Segment types

Predictive segments have the following sections:

### Likelihood to Purchase

- Predicts the probability a user will make a purchase in the next 7 days, using real-time behavioral data.
- **Example**: Likelihood to Purchase - is - High → Target high-LTP users with promotions or reminders.

### Customer Lifecycle Status

- Categorizes users by stage in the customer journey (e.g., Visitor, Potential Buyer, Customer).
- **Example**: Customer Lifecycle Status - is - Potential Buyer → Nurture users toward conversion.

### Discount Affinity

- Classifies users based on their response to discounts, distinguishing discount seekers from premium shoppers.
- **Example**: Discount Affinity - is - High → Send higher-than-average discount offers or coupons.

### Attribute Affinity

- Segments users who have a preference for specific categories, products, or custom attributes based on past interactions.
- **Example**: Attribute Affinity - is - {Category} - {Product} → Show tailored product recommendations.
