# Web Push: Exit Intent Push

The Exit Intent feature allows you to send a [Trigger Web Push](/docs/create-a-trigger-web-push-campaign) notification when a user shifts focus away from your website tab, such as opening a new tab or switching to another app, while your site is still open.

This behavior signals a possible drop-off, and Exit Intent Pushes can help you re-engage users before they leave entirely.

## How to enable the Exit Intent trigger

During the Rules step of your Trigger Web Push campaign, check the box labeled **Enable Exit Intent Trigger**.

## Re-eligibility logic

After a user receives and interacts with an Exit Intent notification, they will become eligible to receive it again only after the re-eligibility duration you define in the Goals step.

This prevents overexposure and helps maintain a non-intrusive user experience.
