# User Profiles

**User Profiles** (UP), also known as getting a single, 360-degree view of each customer, is the front-end implementation of the Unified Customer Database (UCD). Insider One collects and unifies user information from various sources (e.g., web, mobile, CRM, email) and then displays it on the UP page. This page provides data for individual users.

> You can provide your members with [user access](/v1/docs/user-operations) to view the PII (Personally Identifiable Information), users' personal data, or user profiles from the User Management page.

You can use the User Profiles page for various purposes across verticals. For example, a car seller can use it to filter for desired users and to collect insights from their previous activities.
