# Suppressions

Managing [Email suppressions](/docs/managing-email-suppressions) is the key to maximizing email delivery. If recipients have an easy way to tell you they want to stop receiving emails instead of using the spam button, it will give more valuable insights without affecting IP reputation.

[SMS unsubscription](/docs/managing-sms-global-unsubscribe) is the process whereby a user decides to stop receiving SMS messages. According to your needs and country regulations, Insider provides different unsubscription methods for SMS users. All of those methods are automated methods to collect unsubscribers. You do not need to perform actions other than setting up the appropriate unsubscription method.

[Unsubscribing from WhatsApp](/docs/manage-whatsapp-global-unsubscribe) refers to the process by which a user chooses to stop receiving WhatsApp messages. Based on your needs, Insider offers various automated methods to handle unsubscriptions. Once the appropriate method is set up, no further action is required on your end.
