# Send Mixpanel Cohorts to Insider One

> You cannot make any changes to External Platform Integrations without having either an Administrator or an Editor with PII access in InOne. Refer to [User Roles](https://academy.useinsider.com/docs/user-management#user-roles) for further information.

[Mixpanel integration](https://help.mixpanel.com/hc/en-us/articles/360051368091) enables you to export your Mixpanel cohorts to Insider One to create custom segments you can apply to your Insider One campaigns. To do this, you should:

## Enable Insider One integration

3. Navigate to Insider One's InOne panel **In****O****ne**> **Your Username** > **Settings** > **In****O****ne Settings** > **Integration Settings** tab to generate your Insider One API Key. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/c6df4583-da94-4cb2-bb8a-be0cbdd11109/Images/Documentation/image-1767899648062.png)

Once the connection is successful, you will see a **Connected** tag.

## Match users between Insider One and Mixpanel

Follow [Mixpanel's guide](https://help.mixpanel.com/hc/en-us/articles/360051368091#matching-users-between-insider-and-mixpanel) to match your users between Insider One and Mixpanel.

## Select a sync type

Follow [Mixpanel's guide](https://help.mixpanel.com/hc/en-us/articles/360051368091#sync-types) to select a type to export.

## Select the custom segment in Insider One

Once the export is completed, go to InOne and select a campaign you want to use the Mixpanel cohort with.

3. For the campaigns where you can use the [Standard Segments](https://academy.useinsider.com/docs/standard-segments), create your campaign and select [Attributes](https://academy.useinsider.com/docs/standard-segments-attributes) > **Mixpanel Cohort Segment**.
