# Send a test email

Before launching an email campaign, we strongly suggest you test your email design to see how it will look.

Once you complete designing your email, you can send a test email to preview it in your inbox in both the **Design** and **Launch** steps.

## Design Step

You can follow these steps to send a test email to yourself to test the design of your email: 1. Add the **email address(es)** that you want to send the email to on the screen that appears on the right side of your screen.

You can add **up to 15** email addresses.

You must check the permission box to inform the Insider system about these users' consent.

4. Click the **Send** button to send your email.

The quota for the test emails is **300** test emails per day and **30** test emails per minute. A test email can be sent to a maximum of **15** email addresses at a time.

> The default limit shown here is a standard baseline. If your use case requires higher capacity, feel free to reach out to the Insider One team. We can adjust it to fit your needs.

## Launch Step

You can also send a test email while on the Launch step. This test email aims to test the email's tracking parameters and design.

1. Click the **Test Message** at the bottom of the page.

2. Check the **Authorized to send to the added email addresses** box. If you want to use the email addresses later, check the **Remember Email Addresses** box.
