# Goals

Goals enable you to track the performance of your campaign. Keeping track of the respective metrics helps you strategize your campaign. This way, you can decide whether to keep running the same variants or make changes to your campaign.

You can select a goal from the [default](/docs/default-goals) or [custom goals](/docs/custom-goals) for your campaign to track its performance.
